Now in its fourth decade, the Steiner Summer Yiddish Program is an immersive program in Yiddish language and culture, with beginner and intermediate tracks, open to college and graduate students ages 18-26 June 5-July 22. Participants can earn six college credits during the seven-week course while studying with leading scholars in seminar-style classes and also enjoy field trips to attend Yiddish cultural events. Intermediate students also participate in paid internships at the Center. Applications are due February 8.

The Yiddish Book Center Graduate Fellowship offers recent graduates with backgrounds and interest in Yiddish and Jewish studies the opportunity to gain experience working as full-time Center staff members from September through August. A stipend is available. Applications are due January 4.
