Dear Publisher and Dear Editor,
I wanted to let you know that I LOVE the new Journal! I’ve been a subscriber for 25 years. In the past, I sent my donations just as a Mitzvah because “it’s a local Jewish paper and we should support it.” I barely browsed through it occasionally looking over some articles, checking the Russian page and recycling it right away.
Not any more! I’m actually reading the new Journal! I’m reading almost every article and every letter! You turned it into a true Jewish newspaper, the one that is thought provoking, the one that follows a great Jewish tradition of promoting discussions. Whether you’re writing about the AIPAC meeting, or the elections, or anti-Semitism in Newton, or some historical subjects, I find it stimulating intellectually and spiritually.
I may agree or disagree, but I will read and think instead of recycling right away. And for that I thank you!
