Benjamin M. Greenbaum, 90 – formerly of Salem, Rockport and Marblehead. Entered into rest on June 10, 2016.

Beloved husband of the late Marlene F. (Shack) Greenbaum. Dear father of Lois Greenbaum of Salem and Julie Greenbaum and her late partner Chris Ciocca of Malden. Loving brother of Henry Greene and his late wife Renee of Fla., and the late Gert Shyavitz, Rae Savelle and Morris Greenbaum.

Mr. Greenbaum grew up in Lawrence and was a veteran of WW II, where he served in the 87th Infantry Division in General Patton’s army. He and his late wife ran a business in Gloucester for 20 years. Upon retirement, he retired to the “snow bird” life – six months in Boynton Beach, Fla., and six months in Salem.

Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem on Wednesday, June 15, at 12 noon. Interment at Temple Sinai Memorial Park, Buxton Rd, Danvers. Memorial observance will be held following the interment at the Club House at Village of Vinnin Square, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local DAV (Disabled American Veterans) at www.dav.org.
